About Foursquare ECS Mark XXVI Magisterium
“Mastery” A blend of three distinct 16 Year Single Blended Rums, distilled in the copper Double-Retort Pot Still and the Continuous Twin Column Coffey Still of Foursquare. Two of the rums were double maturations, one aging 3 years in Ex-Bourbon Casks, then 13 additional years in Ex-Oloroso Sherry Barrels-the other aging 9 years in Ex-Bourbon followed by 7 years in Ex-Oloroso Sherry. The last was a Single Blended Rum matured entirely in Ex-Bourbon Casks for 16 years. All aging, blending and bottling occurring entirely on-site at Foursquare Rum Distillery.
Tasting Notes for Foursquare ECS Mark XXVI Magisterium
Soft, elegant and savory. Mid-draw cigar notes, rich and full across the palate, notes of hazelnut, dark cocoa, orange zest, s’mores-toasted leaning into lightly charred marshmallow. Lingering hints of fresh blueberry on the palate with a touch of hazelnut. An incredible sip from start to finish.

Howl on the Hill 1.5oz Foursquare Magisterium .5oz Sweet Vermouth .5oz Fernet .25 oz Yellow Chartreuse Kubler Absinthe Rinse Stir all ingredients over ice and pour into chilled coupe Hot Ale Flip 1.5oz Foursquare Magisterium .5oz Velvet Falernum .5oz Demerara Syrup 1 bottle Scotch Ale 1 Whole Egg Combine the ale, egg, and syrup in a bowl and whisk until it’s slightly frothy. Add the rum. Transfer to a heat-safe mug or bowl wide enough to accommodate the top of the fire poker. Heat a fire poker in coals until red-hot. Pull it out of the fire and plunge it into your mug or bowl. Remove it when the bubbling stops. If a little ash gets in there, scoop it out with a spoon. If the drink isn’t warm enough, repeat. Top with a bit of fresh, grated nutmeg.
